Quick summary
Binance hack sent Bitcoin to 76K, right into limit one
Bitcoin is still holding above the 50-week moving average
A daily close above 78.57 is the level to watch
Fear and greed hit 30, but Bitcoin is healthy, waiting for a spark
Fear and greed went from 51 to 30 in a day. Is it really that bad?
You’re watching this after the move. Hit the bell to catch the next one live.
Yesterday on the stream I said $76K is doable if Bitcoin can’t hold or get through $81K. Overnight, Binance got hacked, the biggest hack in crypto history at six plus billion. Over one and a half billion went through in liquidations, mostly longs.
If you were leveraged, you probably got hurt. If you had a limit order sitting at limit one, you woke up with a 2% gain. We’re not making predictions. We’re just planning for potential outcomes.
Here’s what we covered:
Bitcoin: It’s still holding above the 50-week moving average. The job is simple: a daily close back above $78.5K.
Limit orders: Limit two sits around $74, and limit three at $69K to $70K. Below $71K, it’s bad.
Google: It’s down 30% from its May high and fell 12% in a day. Bitcoin didn’t.
Tesla: At $400 a share, it’s good for another 20%.
HYPE: The ascending wedge is still in play. I don’t care what the news says.
DOG vs Doge: Doge is going through an identity crisis because of Dog. Watch November 24th.
Fear and greed: On September 2nd, price was exactly where we are today.
Bitcoin is healthy, but it’s waiting for something to spark it.
Recorded live Oct 30.
FAQ
What level does Bitcoin need to hold?
The 50-week moving average, around 76. Bitcoin’s first move down was under 2%, and it’s still holding above it, which is a good thing. The job now is a daily close back above 78.57, and to hold that level. Update, Oct 31: No daily close above 78.57 yet. Price stalled right at 78.6 and sits around 77.2.
Where are the next limit orders?
Limit two is open at 73.6 to 73, but 74 is the number that normally gets respected more. Limit three comes in between 69 and 70. Limit four stays open and becomes an order you end up raising rather than deleting.
What’s the bearish scenario?
An annoying descending wedge all the way down to February 2027. I don’t think we’re going to go lower than 71. If we do go lower than 71, it’s bad.
What happened with the Binance hack?
Binance got hacked overnight, the biggest hack in crypto history, with multiple sources saying six plus billion. Over one and a half billion went through in liquidations, the vast majority longs. If you were leveraged, you probably got hurt. If you had a limit order at limit one, you woke up with a 2% gain.
Is Bitcoin weaker than Google?
No. Google is down 30% from its high in May 2026 and went down 12% in a day. Bitcoin didn’t go down 12% in a day. It’s not fair that Bitcoin always gets the brunt of the bad asset vibes.
