No Way This BTC Fractal Is Playing Out

Quick summary

BTC/EUR is tracking what appears to be an exact repeat of the 2018 bottom structure, sharp drop, tight consolidation, then a breakout already underway. If the fractal holds, the first target is 75,000 EUR with 89,000 EUR the extended level.

What is Bitcoin?

Bitcoin is the original cryptocurrency and the largest by market cap. XBT/EUR is the Kraken ticker for Bitcoin priced in Euro.

The Fractal

In late May ealy June 2026, BTC/EUR dropped sharply, consolidated in a tight range for several weeks, then exploded upward through resistance. From July 10, the chart is doing the exact same thing, sharp drop, tight consolidation, then a breakout that is now underway.

Same structure. Same shape. Same sequence. A fractal was laid out in the first week of June and is currently holding. An imminent increase in price is expected if the fractal continues.

If it plays out

The May move ran from the consolidation base at ~50,500 EUR to the first resistance zone at ~75,000 EUR, a move of roughly 48%. If the July fractal mirrors that from the same consolidation base, the first target is the blue resistance at ~75,000 EUR, with the extended target at ~89,000 EUR.

The invalidation

A drop back below 58,400 EUR and a hold there puts the fractal in question. Below 53,000 EUR and it's off the table entirely.
